Terms of Service
Last updated: September 11, 2026. These terms are pending review by counsel and may be updated.
Operator. Demand Letter Factory is operated by Om Bhardwaj, sole proprietor, Meerut, India ("we," "us"). These terms are an agreement between your firm and that operator.
1. The service
Demand Letter Factory is drafting software for personal-injury practices. Attorneys upload medical records and bills; an eight-stage pipeline produces a drafted demand letter with page-level citations back to the source records, a citation-verification gate, and a watermarked draft with an exhibit index. The service is in beta, is provided "as is," and may change or be interrupted as it develops.
2. Not a law firm
Demand Letter Factory is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It is drafting software for licensed attorneys; every letter requires review and approval by a licensed attorney before any use.
3. Eligibility and accounts
The service is offered to licensed attorneys and the staff working under their supervision. You can sign in with a work email and password, or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your firm's accounts, including managing which staff members have access.
4. The attorney remains solely responsible for work product
Every draft the service produces, including treatment chronologies, billed-charge totals, damages figures, citations, and letter language, must be reviewed and approved by a licensed attorney before any use, including before sending anything to any party. The attorney is solely responsible for verifying citations, amounts, dates, and legal content, and for all professional obligations to the attorney's clients and tribunals. The software never sends anything itself.
5. Acceptable use
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and only with records your firm is authorized to upload.
- Do not misuse, abuse, or disrupt the service, probe or circumvent its security or access controls, or attempt to reverse-engineer the pipeline.
- Do not upload malicious code or content you have no right to process.
- Comply with your professional obligations, including duties of confidentiality and supervision, when using the service and any draft it produces.
6. Beta warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that drafts will be error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Demand Letter Factory will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service or any draft it produces, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the service, or pose a security or legal risk. Your firm may stop using the service at any time. On termination, your firm's data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy, including deletion on request.
9. Governing law and venue
These terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware are the exclusive venue for any such dispute, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms are pending review by counsel and may be updated. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions and notices go to the operator, Om Bhardwaj, sole proprietor, Meerut, India, at support@demandletterfactory.com.
